Lafarge Winter Lights Display – Canadian Holiday Season Spectacle and New Year Celebration

Lafarge Winter Lights Display - Spectacle for the Holiday Season and New Year Celebration - Marcus Anthony

A wonderful display of over 100,000 twinkling lights illuminate around Lafarge Lake for Christmas and New Year celebratory visitors in Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada during the Holiday Season every December and January.

As arctic outflows stream through from the north and the snow falls, the yearly Lights at Lafarge Winter Lights Display transforms into a magical winter wonderland spectacle. The dazzling display of lights is one of Canada’s largest free outdoor light events in Metro Vancouver, wrapping around Lafarge Lake on a 1.2 kilometre loop through 10 themed zones.

The 10 themed zones at the season’s spectacle include Arbour Walk, Fantasy Forest, Rendezvous at the Pier, Woodland Garden, Starry Night, Bright Reflections, Winter Lights Gate, Caterpillar, O Canada, and Walk on the Wild Side with many traditional Christmas tree arrangements. Below is my journey through the impressive showcase of lights during one of the most festive times of the year.
