However, if you’re looking to take things easy for a change and you want to enjoy some downtime, then London may not be your best choice.
If you’re looking for somewhere that is a little more laid back and has a slower pace of life, you need to look for some more peaceful alternatives. The great thing about the UK is that this doesn’t have to be so-called ‘big city’ alternatives. For example, somewhere like Basingstoke gives you the peace and quiet that you might be craving, but with the option of accessing more vibrant attractions through Hampshire if you desire.

Okay, so we’re not just pinpointing the capital city here, but it’s fair to say that prices are higher than average in London.
Whether it’s a pint down at your local pub or whether it’s some street food whilst you’re on a day out, make no mistake about it, you will be paying more for the same things in London compared to other parts of the UK.

If you’re looking for somewhere that is very busy and has many people around, then London is the place for you.
